Robben not concerned by boos World Soccer Shop

The boos which overshadowed the friendly match between Holland and Bayern Munich are a thing of the past, according to Arjen Robben.

Robben: 'What is gone is gone'

Robben was made the scapegoat by some Bayern fans for their Champions League defeat to Chelsea and he was booed every time he touched the ball at the Allianz Arena last week.

He left the stadium without comment, but after receiving the opposite kind of treatment in Holland's friendly against Bulgaria at the weekend he says he is now only looking forwards.

"I have never had a week like it," he said. "To be booed by your own fans is bizarre and that is not easy.

"But that is football. Sometimes you are the villain, sometimes you are the hero. I am a strong person and can deal with it."

Robben's every touch was met by extra cheers and applause in Amsterdam in the weekend's 2-1 defeat to Bulgaria and he hopes to hear similar reactions in Poland and Ukraine.

"I want to thank the fans for such a warm welcome," he said. "It gives you such a good feeling to be welcomed like this by your own fans.

"What is gone is gone. Now I am with Holland and the focus is on the European Championships."
