Preparations for Euro 2012 continue this week, as the Netherlands meet Slovakia and Sweden host Iceland in international friendly action.
Several countries involved in the European Championships in Poland and Ukraine have run-outs scheduled in the coming days.
The Netherlands, beaten finalists at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, host Slovakia in Rotterdam and will be looking to bounce back from a surprise 2-1 defeat to Bulgaria in their last fixture.
Sweden are at home to Iceland, who were unfortunate to lose 3-2 to France on Sunday after leading 2-0 at half-time of their friendly in Valenciennes.
And defending European champions Spain, fresh from a 2-0 win over Serbia, meet South Korea on neutral territory in Switzerland.
There are several teams not involved in the Euros in action on Wednesday, with a friendly between the United States and Brazil in Maryland the headline act.
On Thursday two of Europe’s heavyweights are in action, with Euro 2012 favourites Germany tackling Israel in Leipzig, and France welcoming Serbia to Reims.
Greece, drawn in Group A of the Euros, take on Armenia in Austria, and Mexico are up against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Chicago.
The friendlies continue on Friday, with Italy’s match against fellow Euro 2012 finalists Russia the pick of the action.
Tournament co-hosts Ukraine go up against Austria, Czech Republic meet Hungary and Estonia play Finland.
Finally, Latvia will vie with neighbours Lithuania for local bragging rights, while Guatemala host Costa Rica.
