Dunga coy on coaching future

Former Brazil boss Dunga is remaining tight-lipped on speculation linking him with Serie A clubs Fiorentina and Lazio.

Both Italian sides are currently without a coach, with the Viola having fired Delio Rossi before the end of the season and installed Vincenzo Guerini as caretaker, while Edy Reja stepped down at the helm of the Biancocelesti.

The two clubs are reportedly keen on hiring Dunga, but when pressed on the matter, the World Cup winner was giving little away.

“I am with my family now and sorting out a few personal issues,” the former Fiorentina midfielder told Radio Brandesco Esportes.

“It is important to make the most of these opportunities, seeing as I might return to work when I least expect it.

“I am ready, but must choose a club where I can work and carry on a project without them changing the tune.”

Dunga, who led Brazil to World Cup glory in 1994 as captain, spent four seasons at the Artemio Franchi during his illustrious playing career.
