Brazil ready for Mexico clash World Soccer Shop

Brazil will look to continue their impressive build-up to this summer's London Olympics when they face Mexico in Sunday's friendly in Dallas.

Menezes: Brazil coach

Mano Menezes' side started their preparations for London a week ago with a 3-1 victory over Denmark in Hamburg before thrashing the United States 4-1 in Maryland.

Menezes looks set to field a strong line-up at Cowboys Stadium, with Sandro, Romulo and Oscar in midfield and a powerful attacking trio of Neymar, Leandro Damiao and Hulk.

Porto forward Hulk scored twice against the Danes and is more than satisfied with his current form.

"I'm at my 100%, enjoying playing in this team with the huge players we have," he said. "Besides, Mano helped me to play in the position where I feel more comfortable, and that helps me a lot."

The 25-year-old was tight-lipped over talk of a possible summer switch to Chelsea, saying: "Every day we hear news about that, but that's the responsibility of my agent. I only have to think about giving my best to be in the Olympic squad."

With all his players focused on London and with the nucleus of the team in place, Menezes' main aim now is to get his side to the Games in top physical condition - and the Selecao boss is confident star man Neymar can stay injury-free despite the close attention he is given on the pitch.

"Last match against USA, the Americans maybe were nervous about the difference and became a little violent towards Neymar. It's normal that people feel some nerves about that," he said.

"But Neymar is very clever and knows how to cope with those kind of fouls."

Menezes is nevertheless likely to rotate some players in the second half, with one eye on the June 9 friendly against Argentina in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Mexico also head into this match in good shape on their US tour after beating Wales 2-0 and Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-1.

Manchester United's Javier Hernandez is expected to be in the starting XI following his match-winning substitute appearance against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Thursday.

"I always will give my best to Mexico, whether I'm in the starting line-up or the bench," Hernandez said. "But facing Brazil is special for any player."

Tottenham forward Giovani Dos Santos is enjoying the new more advanced role he has been handed by coach Jose De La Torre.

"I always played as an offensive midfielder but the coach has put me in attack and I'm confident. I felt good and scored against Bosnia. It would be nice to repeat that against Brazil."

Coach De La Torre will opt for a three-man attack, with Monterrey forward Aldo De Nigris joining Premier League duo Dos Santos and Hernandez in Mexico's last friendly before their first CONCACAF World Cup qualifier against Guyana at Aztec Stadium on June 8.
